I had the pleasure of walking Gianni today.  When I say it was a pleasure, I really mean it.  Gianni came from Canine Center for Independence.  He was almost ready to go to his forever home where he would become a service dog, but they found a medical condition so he was not able to continue with the program.

Gianni underwent two years of intense training and it shows.  He knows a whole list of commands and will do them with no hesitation.  When I walk him, he consistently looks at me to see what I’m going to do.  He knows sit, stay, down, hurry (his command to potty — yes, he goes potty on command), etc.  He is really amazing.
